Get Involved: Volunteer at Mt. Zion Cemetery

Friends of Mt. Zion partners with The Foundation for Delaware County so your donation is secure, tax-deductible, and dedicated to restoring Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Why the Foundation?

We built it this way on purpose. The Foundation provides:

  • Financial accountability: Every donation is tracked and reported.

  • Transparency: Funds are held separately and used only for approved restoration work.

  • Vendor payment: The Foundation pays contractors and vendors directly, after reviewing quotes and approving the work. No money passes through our hands or the owner's.

  • Tax deductibility: donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
